Summary
With clubhouse troubles finally behind them, the Avengers were eager make a fresh restart to the season. Ironically, this “new season” started the same way that it did last season: by losing to “Newman” and company.

The A’s never had much of a chance against the very team that won the division at the softball complex in 2004. However, you must give the A’s credit for at least showing up. After all, when you play a team whose manager has the same name that the league is named after, (Bud Hall,) you just know things are not going to go in your favor.
Highlights
A's were able to round up 4 lady players by game time to avoid a forfeit..
The following players made their debute with the Avengers: Dale, Adam, Kim, Leslie, Kristina,
Dale: 3 for 3 with a double and 1 RBI.
A-WOL managed to avoid a fall on the field while rounding third and tripping ove the bag.
Dean was robbed of two run producing line drives by Team 2's 1st baseman, Alena.
A's pitching was able to limit "Newman" to fly outs, but were ineffective otherwise.
At around 9:45 PM, Tony finally touched second base,... and third, ... and home for the first time this season.
