Perhaps it was the heat. Perhaps it was because the team coach was late. Perhaps it was the lighting. Perhaps it was the fact that most of the team players had played a game earlier in the day under the sweltering heat. Whatever the reason, A’s struggles continued in Game 5 against the “Auto Market”.

The A’s added 2 veteran pitchers to the roster prior to game 5 and got a great pitching performance from their starter, Clara. However, the A’s were unable to get their A-Game going, both offensively and defensively, and fell victim to the Auto Market. Perhaps the A’s need a tune-up?
